We are home to the most iconic and beloved Christmas brands of this generation including The Elf on the Shelf, Elf Pets, and Elf Mates. The Digital Media Designer II is responsible for executing and supporting digital initiatives, in whole or in part, that enhance the digital experience of The Lumistella Company's house of brands. This position has a focus on website design and content management of our US-focused websites, our online store, our Scout Elf Ideas app, and occasional support of retail and international partnership requests, as well as ad hoc projects. The Digital Media Designer is dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic about all things digital, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and flexible with shifting demands and managing time. They ensure adherence to brand and accessibility guidelines and produce high-quality solutions that meet both internal creative and development standards, as well as specific business goals related to each project. The Digital Media Designer II will: Create and execute thoughtful design concepts and production ready assets based on marketing goals, design and accessibility best practices, analytics, and research while keeping user experience, brand continuity, and technology requirements in mind. Gain supervisor's and Creative Director's feedback and input on project graphics to maintain a congruent digital look and feel; Create wireframes and mockups to ensure designs provide an optimal user experience, are ensured to work on common screen ratios, and allow for seamless development pass-off. Manage content development and management within our WordPress/ Bootstrap and Shopify eCommerce ecosystems, while coordinating with full-stack developers to address project needs; Adhere to delivery schedules that align with important launch dates for projects; Review usage analytics related to areas of focus and assist in yearly project planning based on findings. Protect company assets through the proper management of files and adherence to company policy regarding information security and management. If you want to be one of us.. . The ideal canddiate will bring : 5+ years of digital/web design experience with 1+ year of front-end development; eCommerce experience a plus Ability to create and develop using Mac hardware and its latest operating system preferred but not required Advanced knowledge of and experience with WordPress or a comparable CMS Ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot basic HTML/CSS, including the understanding of proper page structure Basic knowledge of and experience with the Bootstrap framework preferred Expert proficiency in Figma and basic proficiency in Adobe XD Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite:
PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote, and Teams Basic knowledge of existing and emerging generative AI technology such as Adobe Firefly; experience with other AI tools a plus Understanding of web standards to help make informed decisions alongside the development team Experience with designing for device responsiveness and accessibility best practices, as well as an overall thoughtfulness to the UX/UI Exceptional design skills utilizing design best practices with an eye for brand adherence, and the ability to execute expediently and efficiently Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under pressure Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities Be a quick learner with a proactive approach to skill and efficiency improvement Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organization, prioritization, and strong time management skills with accountability for meeting deadlines Team-oriented and collaborative
