Join the JKS Production Network. John Kind Studios is seeking freelance Web Designers to support approved client and company website projects.

Assignments may include:

Website and landing-page design Site architecture and content organization Responsive page layouts User-experience planning Content placement CMS or no-code platform implementation Website testing and launch preparation Approved revisions Applicants should identify the platforms and design tools they use. Experience with Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, Figma, or comparable tools may be relevant depending on the assignment. This role does not automatically include copywriting, original branding, photography, video production, advanced SEO, custom application development, hosting, or ongoing maintenance. This is a project-based independent-contractor opportunity. Joining the JKS Production Network does not guarantee assignments, hours, minimum income, or exclusivity. Each assignment is confirmed separately with its scope, compensation, schedule, responsibilities, and deliverables in writing.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include: A professional web-design portfolio Experience designing responsive websites Strong understanding of layout, hierarchy, usability, and navigation Ability to work within established brand direction Experience using relevant design or website platforms Strong communication and revision-management practices Ability to meet approved deadlines Accurate communication about technical capabilities and limitations
