Job Description

Position Summary:
Marketing and Design Specialist is responsible for managing and executing creative projects, website development, branding, exhibitions, calls for art, promotions, and other related tasks. ​ This role requires a highly organized and creative individual with expertise in design, marketing, and project management to support the organization's branding and promotional initiatives. ​
Key Responsibilities:
​ Design Develop creative assets for rotating exhibitions monthly including printed material Design social media ads for Facebook, Instagram, including some copywriting and image research. ​ Manage the Weekly Newsletter, currently called 'The Muse' Create promotional materials for Cultural Center team projects and execute special projects Fulfill business cards, membership cards, envelopes, and name tags (ongoing). ​ Manage image cleaning, retouching, and reformatting for all projects Manage external print relationships. ​ Website Co-design and maintain the organization's website. ​ Build exhibition pages, including copywriting and image research. ​ Perform regular website maintenance and updates. ​ Promotions Manage social media sites to optimize followers and viewership Execute ticket pre-sale newsletter campaigns, including dedicated newsletters and social media ads. ​ Design print and digital ads for local publications and liaise with publication teams. ​ Cultural Center Brand Manage and maintain the Cultural Center brand across web, print assets, and promotions. ​ Collaborate with the Center team to develop and implement brand updates ​
Qualifications:
Strong design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools. Experience in website design, maintenance, and content creation. ​WIX platform familiarity is a plus. Excellent copywriting and communication skills. ​ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. ​ Familiarity with social media platforms and promotional strategies. ​ Experience with CaFÉ or similar platforms for Calls for Art is a plus. ​ Strong organizational and project management skills. ​
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
