AM Position Summary:
As a Marketing Graphic Designer in the Content Development Department, you will be responsible for producing creative, on-brand visual content that supports marketing initiatives across web, email, social media, packaging, and more. This is a fast-paced, production-focused role where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective marketing materials that engage our audience and strengthen the Fire Mountain Gems and Beads brand. Strong Adobe skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are key to success in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and edit compelling graphics for email campaigns, web promotions, social media content, and more that align with our brand identity Create visual assets including logos, labels, product packaging, and digital templates Collaborate with team members and departments to develop and execute design concepts Review and self-proof all work to meet brand and quality standards Revise designs based on feedback from peers, project leads, and department leadership Develop familiarity with Fire Mountain Gems and Beads products, customer demographics, and industry competitors Stay current with visual trends in jewelry, fashion, design, and digital media Maintain professionalism and effective communication across creative and cross-functional teams Support additional design and marketing projects as assigned by Content Development leadership
Essential Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 2+ years of professional design experience preferred Strong portfolio showcasing skills in Adobe Photoshop (submission required) Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and InDesign Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint) Experience using Wrike or similar project management tools Familiarity with Salesforce or similar content management systems (CMS) Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and email design best practices Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization Willingness to learn, contribute ideas, and improve design and workflow processes
