BIM Manager Your Impact The CAD/BIM Manager oversees the technical foundation of all design projects, from initial optioneering and test fits to final delivery. This role serves as a subject matter expert on the firm's tech stack, establishing workflows and providing hands-on support to design studios. Key responsibilities include upholding drawing standards, implementing best practices, and coordinating with external consultants to ensure the seamless exchange of design documents and BIM models. Anticipates key architectural details that are critical to the architectural language of the project. Is able to take over projects that may be "sideways" and get them back on course. Collaboration Acts as a collegial resource for managers and a backstop for complicated design and code-oriented situations. Is comfortable and successful meeting with AHJ's and related departments have purview over projects. Is willing to tactfully push for desirable outcomes in situations in which code may be subject to interpretation. Care Supports staff development and heads off conflicts within the studio. Regularly coordinates with Directors and leaders to ensure a healthy work culture. Partnership Demonstrates excellent is representing both firm and client interests through the entire project design process. Ensures that the best clients become repeat clients for the firm.
