Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the Children's of Alabama external website. Implements a customer-based, user-centered approach while using software to coordinate layout and graphical components of sites. The Web Developer is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, accuracy, and functionality of the public facing website childrensal.org. This role ensures the external website is consistently maintained, technically sound, and content is accurate to support patients and community experience externally.

Experience:
3 or more years of experience in web content management, digital communications, or a related field required
Skills:
Proficiency with a CMS platform; healthcare or hospital CMS experience a plus Basic

SCM is responsible for generating and distributing timely and accurate information about Children's of Alabama. The department handles all of Children's public relations, media relations, public affairs, advertising, marketing and internal communications. The department also produces all printed materials for both on and off campus constituencies. Children's Strategic Communications and Marketing Department provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of both internal and external customers in a variety of areas.
