Person Details Suresh Dakshinamoorthy Senior Backend Engineer (Cupertino, CA) | 06/10/26 Easy Job Description Full-Time Employee (FTE) Position Only No C2C, No Third-Party Vendors, No Staffing Agencies Please Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using clean architecture and engineering best practices Build and optimize data models and queries for performance, consistency, and reliability Prepare functional requirements and technical documentation for new features and system enhancements Analyze performance bottlenecks, identify root causes, and drive scalable, cost-effective improvements Own the full backend lifecycle development, testing, deployment, and monitoring Work through the support request chain, performing root cause analysis and resolving issues end-to-end Collaborate with stakeholders to deliverplete features across the stack Write clear technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews Own testing strategy and execution (unit, integration, and beyond) using Jest in a QA-less environment Continuously reduce technical debt and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of professional software development with a strong backend focus Proven production experience with Node.js and Express.js Strong SQL skills schema design, query optimization, performance tuning Practical experience with PostgreSQL and/or CockroachDB Solid AWS experience: Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, S3, ECR, Certificate Manager, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with observability and log aggregation, particularly Splunk Strong understanding of cloud-native and event-driven architectures Ability to make independent architectural and technical decisions Experience conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback Proactive about identifying technical debt and proposing improvements Strong problem-solving mindset and clearmunication skills
