Job Description We are looking for a Software Engineer who thrives building high-quality user interfaces at scale. You care deeply about component architecture, performance, and developer experience. You are comfortable working across multiple frontend frameworks and excited by the challenges of micro-frontend (MFE) design. You'll contribute to building and maintaining BILL's customer-facing products, owning features end-to-end from design handoff through deployment and monitoring. This is a hands-on role where you'll sharpen your craft while delivering meaningful improvements to the experience of hundreds of thousands of SMB users. https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements Around 4 years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on frontend development.
  • Proficiency in React (hooks, context, component patterns) and Angular — experience with both frameworks is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with micro-frontend architecture patterns, particularly Webpack Module Federation or equivalent approaches.
  • Solid command of JavaScript and TypeScript, including async patterns, modules, and type safety.
  • Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, NgRx, or React Query.
  • Familiarity with modern build tooling: Webpack, esbuild, or Nx for monorepo management.
  • Experience writing automated tests (unit, component, and end-to-end) and a commitment to test coverage as part of the development workflow.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and a commitment to building inclusive user experiences.
  • Familiarity with performance profiling, Core Web Vitals, and techniques for improving load time and runtime efficiency.
  • Clear communication skills — you can articulate frontend trade-offs in design and code review discussions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
