$300,000 - $380,000 per year About the Role We are looking for a Senior Backend / Python Software Engineer to join a well-funded fintech startup building a next-generation banking and digital wallet platform. Key Responsibilities Lead core backend product development. Build and maintain scalable REST APIs. Integrate with banking, payment, authentication and financial service providers. Work closely with technical leadership on architecture, performance, reliability and security. Build highly scalable financial services from the ground up. Required Skills Strong experience with Python FastAPI PostgreSQL Redis AWS Strong backend/API development experience Experience with Python, Go or Rust Strong understanding of scalable and reliable backend systems Preferred Experience Fintech / Financial Technology Payments, banking or digital wallets Cryptocurrency / financial APIs Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD Distributed systems and high-scale backend APIs Work Authorization Candidates must be legally authorised to work in the United States.
