You'll have the chance to contribute your expertise to the next versions of our software applications in the emerging field of education technology. Required skills:

Strong debugging skills Modern Javascript (ES2017+) Typescript React (functional components, hooks, etc.) Node.js Express Javascript testing frameworks (Karma/Jasmine, Jest, etc.) Helpful additional skills: Build tools (Webpack, Gulp, Rollup, etc.) RESTful API design SPA Design TDD Elasticsearch Angular.js We are looking for someone that: Thrives in a dynamic working environment where we enjoy helping each other become better developers Contributes to outside projects just for the fun of it. You probably participate in code camps, and you often read blogs and articles about web technology Has a strong understanding of raw Javascript as it is being used today Is able to use and understand ES2015+ changes Comfortable writing tests first rather than after everything is done Strong debugging skills Is curious as to how other people's code works Seeks to understand your environment before making changes Time permitting, you like to leave code better than you found it Strong sense of pride and ownership in your code Is able to lead or follow depending on the situation
