Position Overview:

\nWe are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who is a strong hands-on coder and can independently design, develop, and deliver scalable backend services for our client's Marketplace Shopping platform. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and distributed systems, with a strong understanding of system design and production-scale applications. This role requires someone who can take ownership ofplex technical problems, make sound architectural decisions, and drive solutions from design through implementation and production.\n

Key Responsibilities:

\nWork on highly scalable, distributed backend systems and drive technical design and architecture for critical Marketplace capabilities\nIndependently design, develop, and deliver scalable backend services\nTake ownership ofplex technical problems and make sound architectural decisions\nParticipate in design discussions and drive solutions from design through implementation and production\nWork in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous requirements\n

Primary Requirements:

\n10-15+ years of experience with Java\n10+ years of experience with Spring Boot / Microservices\n10+ years of experience with System Design / Distributed Systems\n3+ years of experience with Kafka / Event-driven architecture\nStrong working knowledge of PostgreSQL / Relational Databases\n
