Mobile & Web Application Developer

AFEX is expanding our engineering team and seeking a Mobile & Web Application Developer to help build a modern digital inspection, reporting, and workflow platform. This role focuses on delivering intuitive mobile applications for iOS and Android, along with a secure web-based portal for user access, data management, and system visibility. You'll play a key role in shaping a scalable, cloud-connected platform that provides a seamless experience across mobile and web. What You'll Do Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications (iOS & Android) Build dynamic forms, checklists, and data capture workflows Implement photo and document upload features Develop offline-first functionality with reliable cloud synchronization Create secure web applications for user login, dashboards, and reporting Build and maintain backend APIs and database integrations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product features and user experience Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across the platform What We're Looking For Experience building mobile applications (e.g., .NET MAUI, Flutter, React Native, or native iOS/Android) Experience with modern web development (React, Angular, Vue, or similar) Strong understanding of backend development (REST APIs, databases, authentication) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) Familiarity with offline data handling and synchronization strategies Solid understanding of software architecture and best practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Nice to Have Experience with real-time data (WebSockets, push notifications) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience designing user-friendly UI/UX for mobile applications Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools
