Long-Term Contract Job Summary:

The Senior Shopify Developer will lead the development and customization of Shopify stores, design and implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience. The consultant will also mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and customization of Shopify themes. Design and implement new features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. Integrate third-party applications and services. Optimize Shopify stores for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. Stay current with Shopify trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. Strong understanding of Shopify platform, themes, apps, and APIs. Experience with Git/version control systems. Knowledge of SEO principles and responsive design. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Must-Have Experience:

Strong backend and frontend Shopify development experience. Extensive Shopify theme customization experience. Shopify app development expertise. Experience developing custom integrations and middleware solutions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with database management and data migration. Familiarity with eCommerce best practices and consumer behavior. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
