monolith backed by a MySQL database.Responsibilities :
Architect, Build, Maintain and Deploy new business features. Work alongside product and other developers in a team oriented environment. Communicate with business stakeholders to understand requirements. Write and maintain data access logic using Dapper / MySQL, while ensuring query performance is preserved or improved to maintain SLA. Introduce and maintain automated test coverage (unit and integration) using NUnit as a standard part of all extraction and feature work. Analyze and refactor legacy modules of the existing platform into independently deployable and testable ASP.NET Core services, following the established decomposition roadmap. Define service contracts and communication patterns between newly extracted services and the remaining monolith during the transition period.Requirements:
6+ years of C# ASP.NET experience. 5+ years of SQL database experience. Strong background in building large scalable software. Experience defining service contracts, functional expectations and test boundaries. Proven ability to introduce a testing culture into a codebase with limited existing coverage without disrupting delivery velocity. Must be •proficient• in: C# Backend API Development .NET Core 7+ DI / Configuration / Logging ASP.Net Core / MVC / WebAPI Dapper / Json.Net
