The position is full-time, based in Athens, operating under a hybrid work model. key responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at optimizing the development lifecycle and infrastructure: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, mission-critical web application interfaces using React. Build reusable, modular components and design systems to ensure code reusability, maintainability, and scalability. Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, pixel-perfect, and accessible interfaces. Integrate with RESTful APIs and back-end services, ensuring efficient data flow and robust error handling. Optimize application performance and rendering efficiency across different browsers and devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. Lead code reviews, enforce high code quality, and mentor team members on best practices. Take full ownership of features from conception through deployment, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. experience 5+ years of experience as a Front End Developer qualifications Degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines. At least 5+ years of proven front-end development experience, ideally building production-grade, mission-critical interfaces. Strong experience in designing and architecting scalable front-end systems (component libraries or modular architectures). Expertise in automated testing strategies (e.g., Cypress, Playwright) across the testing pyramid. Deep understanding of design patterns, performance optimization, and secure coding practices. Proactive mindset with the ability to identify architectural improvements and mentor junior engineers. Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal). Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with WebSockets or other real-time tracking and visualization technologies.
