Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a web developer to sit fully remote in India. They will be supporting a new application and help move the application into GCP. This person must have experience in

RESTFUL API

development, mainly back end. All of the development will be within GCP. The microservices are to be implemented in GKE and DB2 is the relational database. Technical focus/skills :

Understand application architecture and interplay between application tiers & components (UI/UX, middleware, backends)
Query and decipher logging entries by application tiers and components.
Use tooling read and decipher JSON documents, entities and data
Form requests in tooling like Postman to invoke endpoints
Orchestrated use of the above to efficiently and consistently triage application issues and defects
Adherence to clean code principles and write reusable, modular code applying design principles and patterns.

Skills and Requirements Must Have:

5+ years' experience in developing Spring Boot Java Services in DevOps Environment. Experience in Java (1.7) and Spring Framework Build and consume RESTful APIs and webservices. Develop SQL queries and analyze data to support application development and production issues. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Build & Deployment tools (Sonar, Octopus) Use of OAuth2.0 and JWT tokens Proficiency in MySQL, Postgres database technologies. Deployment and troubleshooting application in GCP Experience in Writing automated unit and integration/behavioral tests(Junit/JMockit or Mockitor) Use of OAuth2.0 and JWT tokens React Exp
