Long term Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Java Front-End Developer with strong expertise in Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end development technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications and integrating front-end solutions with Java/Spring Boot backend services and REST APIs. The candidate should possess hands-on experience with Next.js architecture, including Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), state management, authentication, and automated testing. Experience developing enterprise-grade applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment is essential. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using Next.js and React.js. Build reusable UI components, front-end libraries, and maintainable application architectures. Implement Next.js features, including App Router, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), and API Routes. Integrate front-end applications with Java/Spring Boot backend services, REST APIs, and microservices. Collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure seamless data exchange. Implement efficient state management using Redux Toolkit, Context API, Zustand, or similar libraries. Develop secure authentication and authorization workflows using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JSON Web Tokens (JWT). Optimize application performance, page load times, SEO, accessibility, and overall user experience. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and compliance with accessibility standards. Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright. Participate in code reviews, debugging, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver business requirements. Follow modern development practices using Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack software development. 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining production applications using Next.js and React.js. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and modern front-end development principles. Hands-on experience with Next.js App Router, SSR, SSG, ISR, and API Routes. Experience with UI frameworks and component libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Bootstrap, or Ant Design. Strong experience integrating front-end applications with Java/Spring Boot backend services and REST APIs. Experience with state management solutions such as Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand. Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT. Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright. Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices. Understanding of web application security, performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments. Experience with enterprise-grade Java/Spring Boot microservices architectures. Knowledge of GraphQL and modern API integration patterns. Experience building SaaS, multi-tenant, or B2B enterprise applications. Familiarity with performance monitoring, logging, and observability tools. Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience developing AI-enabled web applications and modern front-end architectures. Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA), SEO best practices, and WCAG accessibility standards.
