- Financial Services Technology Our client is building the next generation of lending and financial services technology through cloud-native applications, modern microservices architecture, and scalable digital platforms.
- Building scalable Node.js microservices in a cloud environment
- Expanding API functionality across multiple applications and services
- Supporting platform modernization efforts through containerization and cloud technologies
- Enhancing application performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Contributing to CI/CD and automated testing practices
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver new customer-facing capabilities Required Skills
- 1-3+ years of professional software development experience
- Hands-on experience with Node.js
- Experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts, promises, and the Node.js event loop
- Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized applications
- Knowledge of software testing practices including unit and integration testing
- Experience working within an Agile development environment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS services, including Lambda
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Experience with React, Angular, or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab
- Experience supporting production applications in a cloud environment Ideal Candidate
- Backend-focused developer with a passion for Node.js and API development
- Comfortable working within distributed systems and modern web architectures

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
