Lead Web Application Developer (Data Portal) - Pennsylvania state education agency

Contract:

Nov 2, 2026 - Jul 3, 2027 (W2 only, through Cybrty Inc.)

Location:

Hybrid, onsite in Harrisburg, PA when needed. Interview is virtual. No C2C, no 1099, no sponsorship.

please apply right away. We are submitting candidates by Monday, Oct 26. About the role Be the lead developer for the first stages of a new statewide education data portal. You will design, build and test the web application with the state's IT team. What you will do Create front-end design documents such as wireframes and UI mockups that meet the state's Keystone Design System Create back-end documents: data dictionaries, ERDs and architecture docs Serve as lead programmer for the portal web application Work with state IT on network, database and application requirements Report status, risks and blockers to the project manager Lead testing: write and run test cases and fix defects What you need 5+ years of professional web application development (mid to senior level) Full-stack experience: front-end design through back-end data work Experience writing technical documentation (data dictionaries, ERDs) Experience leading testing and bug fixing Apply with your latest resume.
