Job Summary We're looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team and play a key role in building, scaling, and maintaining high-quality web applications. You'll work closely with product, design, and engineering teammates to deliver reliable, well-architected solutions and help set technical standards across the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on development, mentoring others, and influencing technical direction without being fully removed from the code. Job Responsibilities Architect full-stack solutions across font end, database, mobile Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP applications and APIs Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practices Collaborate with Product and Design to translate business requirements into technical solutions Lead code reviews and help establish engineering standards Optimize application performance, security, and scalability Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root-cause resolution Mentor junior and mid-level developers Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term technical roadmap
Education/Technical Experience :
US Citizenship 8+ years of professional experience with PHP development Strong experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar) Solid understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Experience with version control (Git) and interactive rebase Experience with CI/CD pipelines Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical partners Strong interpersonal and communication skills Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to discuss the needs, design, and functionality of a website or interface Collaborate with designers, product managers and backend engineers Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
