Candidates must be able to work onsite in Mettawa or Downtown Chicago 3 days a week (can work from home the remaining two days, role is 40 hrs/week). \ The Web Content Specialist supports day-to-day content operations across a multi-brand website portfolio. This role focuses on CMS execution, content accuracy, QA, and SEO hygiene, while supporting an active site migration. The ideal candidate brings strong CMS fundamentals, comfort with change, and a proactive mindset for using AI and new tools to improve efficiency.
Content & CMS Operations:
Publish, update, and maintain web content using enterprise CMS platforms (AEM, Optimizely, or similar). Build and update landing pages, product pages, campaign assets, and navigation components. Fulfill content requests from cross-functional teams within defined SLAs. Prepare and manage digital assets, including image optimization and metadata.
Quality Assurance & SEO:
Perform pre- and post-publish QA to ensure accuracy, functionality, and responsive behavior. Identify and escalate site issues, broken links, and rendering defects. Implement on-page SEO elements and support structured data as directed. AI-Enabled Improvement Use AI tools to speed up content creation, QA, and routine tasks. Identify manual workflows and propose automation or AI-assisted solutions. Stay informed on emerging tools and apply them to real operational challenges.
Migration & Process Support:
Assist with site migration activities, including content validation, redirects, and testing. Execute bulk updates, regression testing, and migration QA. Document workflows, edge cases, and SOPs. Participate in Agile team ceremonies as required. \
Required Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in web content operations or CMS administration. Experience with enterprise CMS platforms (AEM, Optimizely, Sitecore, or similar). Working knowledge of
HTML, CSS, SEO
fundamentals, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA). Hands-on QA experience across desktop and mobile. Demonstrated professional use of AI tools to improve workflow efficiency. Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. \ Preferred Qualifications Direct experience with AEM Cloud or Optimizely. Exposure to site migrations or replatforming efforts. Familiarity with DAM tools, analytics platforms, and Agile environments. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
