Job Description
The Web Developer at iKomet plays a crucial role in innovating and enhancing our digital platforms. The primary responsibility of this role is to design and implement state-of-the-art web applications that align with our business needs. You will be collaborating directly with our team of designers and marketers to create interactive, user-friendly websites. Responsibilities Design, code, and modify websites, from layout to function and per specifications given. Develop robust, user-friendly, and scalable web applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Execute and contribute to full-stack web development projects, with an emphasis on front end features, browser manipulation, and cross-browser compatibility. Work with product management to ideate software solutions. Debug issues that arise with the performance of the website. Utilize responsive design and implement new site features and effects. Analyze user needs to implement site content, graphics, performance, and capacity. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field. Minimum of 3 years experience in web development. Strong in problem-solving skills, creativity, and an understanding of software engineering processes and principles. Proficient expertise in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery). Experience in server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net. Deep understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS, React, and Amber. Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN. Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables. Self-starter, highly motivated to work in a web development team capacity, while also being able to work independently.
