We build high-performing websites and applications for local government agencies across the country. This role is not just about design. Position Summary We are looking for a website designer who can design, build, and launch high-quality WordPress websites efficiently while continuously improving how the work gets done. You will work alongside internal teams to deliver websites that are not only visually strong but also drive engagement, usability, and real outcomes for clients.

Moves fast without sacrificing quality Takes ownership of projects from start to finish Uses AI and automation to work smarter Brings ideas, not just execution What Success Looks Like You can take a website from concept to launch quickly and cleanly You consistently hit deadlines and manage multiple projects at once You improve workflows, not just follow them You design with purpose, not just aesthetics You actively find ways to go faster using AI and better systems Core Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor Create responsive, mobile-friendly designs across all devices and browsers Translate client needs into functional, user-friendly website experiences Optimize websites for usability, engagement, and conversion Perform updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance Troubleshoot issues identified through testing or client feedback Collaborate with internal teams (IT, GIS, Products, Sales) to deliver projects Follow and improve SOPs to support scalable website delivery Manage multiple website projects and timelines effectively Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) daily to accelerate design, development, and content workflows Continuously explore and test new AI tools to improve speed and creativity Build repeatable systems (templates, prompts, automations) to reduce manual work Bring new ideas to the team on how AI can improve delivery and efficiency Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of WordPress website design and development experience Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic MySQL Experience with Elementor and WordPress Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility Experience working with WordPress plugins and site optimization Familiarity with Google Analytics and performance tracking Basic Understanding of SEO Ability to test, troubleshoot, and ensure quality across devices and browsers Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with

ADA/WCAG 2.1 AA
