Job Description
Position Summary Bellatrix is seeking a Web Developer to support a Department of Defense command's public affairs office by developing, maintaining, and updating web and digital content platforms used to keep the public and the force informed of organizational activities. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain public-facing and internal websites/digital platforms. Update web content in coordination with public affairs staff to support media engagement and internal information programs. Ensure web content complies with DoD/Army web policy, accessibility, and security requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve website functionality and content-management issues. Support digital media production for public affairs campaigns and outreach efforts. Coordinate with IT/network security personnel on web hosting, access, and compliance matters. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. 3+ years of experience in web development/content management, preferably supporting a government or military public affairs function. Proficiency with web content management systems, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and DoD web publishing standards. Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility and DoD web security requirements. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with public affairs and communications staff. •Exempt status under the FLSA Computer Professional exemption is contingent on the role meeting the applicable duties and salary-basis tests at the time of hire.
