Homeland Security Institute General Requirements:
High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required. One year of experience in technology or related field.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Provides design, development, testing, maintenance, and oversight of departmental websites/ intranet sites and other similar web-based media to ensure optimal performance and availability. This is a part-time, hourly, temporary, non-benefits eligible position, working 19 hours or less per week, expected to end on or before 08/31/2026. Specific hours and workdays to be determined. Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only): Works with staff to identify, deliver, develop, test, and maintain web pages and other media for the Institute for Homeland Security (IHS). Performs cross browser development and testing. Documents processes. Receives and responds to incoming communications regarding web and other media needs by IHS. Ensures Americans with Disability Act (ADA) compatibility for websites and related media. Performs other related duties as assigned.
