Job Description
We are seeking a Senior/Lead Back End Java Developer for a 12-month contract position in McLean, Virginia. This role focuses on backend development using modern Java frameworks and cloud technologies, with opportunities to mentor and lead technical initiatives. Responsibilities Design and develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring technologies Build and deploy applications on AWS, with emphasis on Lambda and Fargate services Collaborate with team members to implement scalable, maintainable solutions Provide technical leadership and guidance on backend architecture and best practices Qualifications Required Proven expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring framework technologies Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda and Fargate Experience in senior or lead-level backend development roles Preferred Familiarity with AI and productivity tools such as Cloud Windsor and Gemini Business rules engine or business rules management system experience Full-stack development capabilities
