Job Description

This appointment is expected to last approximately 14 weeks at 20 hours a week for $30 - $35 an hour. The University of South Florida College of Education is seeking a temporary part-time Web Administrator to support website updates, digital content management and web-related projects. This temporary OPS position will provide front-end web support to help maintain the college's web presence and ensure content is accurate, accessible and aligned with university brand standards. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma and relevant web or digital communications experience Experience working with content management systems and website editing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently Experience resizing photos and videos to properly fit the CMS requirements for content Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of HTML and web formatting Experience with higher education Familiarity with accessibility standards and SEO best practices Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar design platforms Strong written communication and proofreading skills Duties/ Responsibilities Update and maintain the USF College of Education's website within the university content management system, modern campus Assist with webpage creation, formatting and organization Review webpages for accuracy, accessibility, broken links and outdated information Coordinate with communications and marketing staff on web updates and digital projects Optimize content for usability, readability and SEO best practices Assist with image uploads, document management and basic troubleshooting Support ongoing website improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned
