Join the JKS Production Network. John Kind Studios is seeking freelance Webmasters to maintain and administer approved JKS and client websites after launch.

Assignments may include:

Website content updates Page and navigation changes CMS administration Plugin or integration monitoring Website backups Broken-link and quality checks User and access management Routine troubleshooting Coordinating technical issues Maintaining organized records of website changes This role focuses on ongoing website administration and maintenance. It does not automatically include full website redesign, original copywriting, branding, custom development, campaign strategy, paid advertising, or major technical repairs. This is a project-based independent-contractor opportunity. Joining the JKS Production Network does not guarantee assignments, hours, minimum income, or exclusivity. Each assignment is confirmed separately with its scope, compensation, access, schedule, responsibilities, and deliverables in writing.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include: Experience administering professional websites Familiarity with common content-management systems Strong troubleshooting and quality-control practices Careful handling of credentials, permissions, and confidential information Ability to document changes accurately Dependability and responsiveness Ability to recognize when an issue requires a designer, developer, hosting provider, or other specialist Experience with Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, or comparable platforms
