Teller/Bookkeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Teller/Bookkeeper to join our financial services team. Responsibilities Handle all cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, ensuring proper cash management and balancing at the end of each shift Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, assisting with account needs, and promoting additional banking products through upselling and relationship management Detect and prevent potential fraud or suspicious activities by monitoring transactions and verifying customer identities Maintain detailed records of all transactions using financial software and perform basic math calculations for balancing accounts Foster strong relationships with customers by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions to enhance their banking experience Requirements Proven experience in financial sales, customer relationship management, or retail banking preferred Strong knowledge of banking operations including cash handling, cash management, cashiering, and basic math skills Familiarity with financial services software and proficiency in 10-key typing for accurate data entry Ability to identify potential fraud or suspicious activity through attentive monitoring and verification procedures Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in banking or finance are a plus Join us as a Teller/Bookkeeper where your energetic approach will make a real difference!
