$25.84 Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Temporary Financial Support Specialist to assist a busy local company. This position will support medical billing operations and help train a new medical biller on systems and processes.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00

PM Duration:

Temporary (length of assignment TBD) Key Responsibilities Submit insurance claims and process payments Pay bills and track accounts to ensure accuracy Serve as the medical billing resource for departments Handle billing inquiries and provide customer service support Train and support a new medical biller on processes and ECW (eClinicalWorks) system Provide back-up support for Office Coordinator and Office Assistant Maintain accurate records within electronic health systems Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Additional coursework or training in accounting or medical billing preferred Working knowledge of medical billing terminology and procedures

Understanding of:

Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party payers Coding guidelines Electronic health records (EHR), clearinghouses, and billing software Prior experience in medical billing strongly preferred Experience in a public agency or government accounting is a plus Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team Apply Today!
