Job Description
Powder Coat Technician A leading global company in the field of materials engineering is hiring an Entry Level Welder. They are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Powder Coat Technician to support our manufacturing and engineering teams. This role is responsible for performing basic powder coating and assembly tasks while following work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure high-quality results. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and maintains a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service in a fast-paced production environment.
Wage:
$19 to $20Schedule:
Monday through Thursday - 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 3 Day Weekends!Essential Functions and Duties:
Support internal customers including manufacturing, engineering, and business units with a strong customer-service mindset Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and co-workers Interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, and instructions to determine powder coat processes, tooling, and fixtures Perform basic powder coating and assembly tasks using standard equipment and power tools Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools; perform rework as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with departmental safety requirementsQualifications:
1 year of experience preferred Understands how individual responsibilities contribute to team goals and coordinate effectively with other departments Identifies and resolves common work-related issues independently, following established procedures Comfortable with extended standing and regular physical activity such as bending, reaching, and lifting High School Diploma or equivalent Get in touch!
