Job Position Overview and Responsibilities:
Follow scheduled work hours as determined by your supervisor to draft manuscript for a submission to scientific journal for publication. Assist supervisor and other lab members with their lab work, if/when necessary to complete the manuscript preparation. Provide constructive feedback and support to fellow (junior) researchers and contribute to a positive and productive research environment. Attend all lab meetings and any required training sessions scheduled by the supervisor. Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy. Whenever possible and necessary, assist with cleaning and maintaining lab equipment in working order, cell-culture media preparation, cleaning/sterilizing lab supplies. Other duties as assigned Qualifications All required qualifications must be included in the application materials
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelors degree is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in laboratory research and manuscript preparation
Pay and Benefits Pay Range:
$25.00/hr; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
