Temporary Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Temporary Carpenter to join our fabrication team. Job Responsibilities:

Fabricate scenic pieces in wood, acrylics, laminates, fabrics, and other material per drawing specifications.

Assembly / Setup

of scenic pieces for test fit in shop. Light Tool Maintenance LED lighting wiring and installation. Oversee individual projects / carpenters at the discretion of the shop forepersons. Attend tool and equipment training meetings. Keep an orderly workplace. Shop cleaning duties per Foreman or during downtime. Work on projects as directed by the shop foremen. Follow shop safety program. Provide input to technical designers on production methods as needed. Mentor and guide entry level carpenters as needed. Oversee projects as directed by Scenic Shop Foreman and Scenic Shop Head. Assist other departments as needed. Special projects as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry, trim carpentry, or related fields within the restoration or manufacturing industries Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward safety standards Join us as a Temporary Carpenter and bring your craftsmanship to life!
