TEMPORARY SUMMER HELPERS JOB OPPORTUNITY - ASSEMBLING FURNITURE, LOADING & UNLOADING TRUCKS GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We're looking for energetic and dependable part-time Summer Helpers (age 16+) to assist our warehouse and assembly teams. This is a hands-on role ideal for students looking to gain valuable work experience in a professional, fast-paced environment. You'll assist with light assembly, organization, and general support tasks as directed by your supervisor.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Must be able to follow directions, work independently, and demonstrate initiative. Positive attitude and willingness to support the company's mission. Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Warehouse & Assembly Support Assist with furniture assembly under supervision using basic hand tools. Organize and prepare parts and components for assembly. Help with inventory organization and stock movement. Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas. Perform light general maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Safely move and handle items (under 50 lbs). Support team members with miscellaneous duties such as labeling, cleaning, and preparing deliveries.

• Demonstrates safe handling of equipment.
• High attention to detail to prevent injury to others and company property.
• Ability to read, write in English, and perform simple mathematical calculations.

• Proper material handling and lifting techniques.

Customer Service & Teamwork Represent the company in a polite and professional manner. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute to team goals.

• Continuous lifting, bending, crouching, and twisting.
