Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Music at Millersville University is seeking a part-time instructor to teach undergraduate courses for Bassoon students. This position will require in-person instruction on Millersville University's campus. This position is contingent upon sufficient enrollments in assigned classes. Copies of registrar-issued transcripts for all degrees conferred and in progress. Two letters of professional reference dated within the last 12 months. Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Music or BA degree in bassoon performance with 15 additional graduate credits in music. Demonstrated knowledge of bassoon pedagogy. Ability to teach diverse student populations successfully. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices and experience working with diverse student populations. Successful interview. Successful teaching demonstration for teaching studio bassoon. Successful completion of three background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD or ABD in Music. Prior college-level teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Special Instructions to
