Job Description
Temporary | Program Assistant
- Family Resource Center University of Notre Dame
- 4.
Typical hours:
August through May (academic year), Monday- Thursday 12 pm
- 4 pm and Fridays 12 pm
- 2 pm, June and July (summer months) Tuesday
- Thursday 11 am-5 pm.
Communications Content Creation:
Designing flyers, writing posts and authoring the newsletterPlatform Management:
Managing a multi-channel social strategy including WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. Serve as the moderator of the FRC WhatsApp groups.Outreach:
Assist with on-campus activities representing the FRC Programming Work with the Program Director and Grad Life Program Coordinator to create social and educational initiatives. Ensures compliance with all University of Notre Dame and Family Resource Center policies or students, spouses, families and guests. Organize event logistics such as purchasing supplies, making room reservations, and coordinating event staffing. Act as a flexible resource for the Program Director on special assignments. May be asked to provide coverage during non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate events planned by the FRC. Qualifications Qualifications & Skills 3 years of experience in programming-related or administrative work. Bachelor's Degree (preferred). As a representative of the Family Resource Center, must be able to effectively and courteously interact with students, spouses, student-families, staff, faculty, and visitors to the Family Resource Center. Must be people-oriented and be able to problem-solve with little direction. Must be self-motivated, respect confidentiality, and be able to work independently. Be knowledgeable of the University of Notre Dame resources, campus life, and activities. Have the ability to prioritize and handle events and tasks as they occur. Proficient in Google Applications- Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.
