Transportation, Logistics, Trucking Description The Tax Clerk will temporarily perform a variety of clerical tasks to support the Tax function during increased workload, special projects, or stagging gaps, including maintaining records, gathering standard documentation, and assisting with routine tax-related processes. Works under close supervision following established procedures.

A culture that appreciates team members Hybrid schedule Hands-on experience and skill development What you'll be doing: Pull invoices and standard documentation from systems to support sales tax audits Organize and maintain tax-related records and files Assist with compiling reports for tax filings using predefined templates Retrieve documents to support refund requests and internal reviews Support account reconciliations by gathering required data and documentation Upload, track, and archive tax documents in designated systems Assist with routine license documentation by collecting and organizing required information Enter and update data in tax and financial systems accurately Follow established procedures and ensure documentation is complete and consistent Escalate issues or discrepancies to higher-level staff Requirements to be successful in this position: High School Diploma or GED 0-2 years of related experience Computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook) Ability to follow defined processes and procedures Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to manage routine tasks and meet deadlines Basic communication skills to support team requests Willingness to learn systems and processes Here are some of the physical requirements for this role: Position is largely sedentary in a climate-controlled office environment Sitting for extended periods of time (up to 6-10 hours per day) while working at a computer or desk Frequently uses hands and fingers for keyboarding, writing, and operating office tools Reads printed materials and computer screens, adjusts focus, and maintains attention to detail Hears and speaks frequently, to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or via virtual platforms Ability to lift, push, pull, and reach office-related supplies, files, chairs, and carts Ability to move for short periods between work areas to attend meetings or retrieve materials Exposed to standard office-related materials and substances, with low-to-moderate noise levels #IND1
