Test Technician

Job Summary:

Conducts Product and R&D testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

Set up test apparatus and conduct and document test of product following established methods, procedures, standards and sequences to confirm compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Work Environment:

The employee is regularly exposed to hazardous chemicals, high pressures and temperatures, high decibel noise, explosive materials, and explosive devices while using appropriate test procedures and personal protective equipment. Set up test apparatus and conduct and document R&D test of devices under direction of Project Engineer. Maintain records on work performed, analyzes data collected, and reports results. Follows procedures as defined by CAD policies, procedures, and ISO9001:2000/AS 9100C requirements. Maintain confidentiality of all information processed. Represent Company in a positive manner. Support and adhere to Company's Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. Performs related duties as assigned or required . Regular and consistent attendance is required.

Job Qualifications:

Required :

Minimum 5 years relevant experience. Ability to read, understand and execute test procedures. Use of oscilloscope, and associated test equipment is essential. Knowledge of mechanical systems and hardware, computer hardware and software, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Good mechanical skills and dexterity. Must be able to pass an ATF "Responsible Party" background check..

Preferred:

Background in Electrical/Mechanical testing environment.
