Testing Coordinator / Portfolio Manager (Bilingual - Spanish)

Full-Time | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Year-Round About SPN Successful Practices Network (SPN) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving outcomes for all students. We partner with schools, districts, state agencies, and other organizations providing education and education related support to implement innovative, research-based solutions that promote student success. SPN fosters inclusive, high-performing learning environments where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. About this position SPN is seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Testing Coordinator / Portfolio Manager to oversee student assessment administration, data collection, and portfolio management. The role ensures accurate testing, appropriate student placement, and data-driven reporting to guide instructional and academic decisions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Individual Educational Assessment within three (3) days of a student's arrival at the facility to determine the educational level and subject aptitude. The Individual Educational Assessment will be administered to each student in the facility on a 90-day rotational track.
  • Manage student placement and academic portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely records
  • Collect, track, and analyze assessment data to support instructional planning and student progress monitoring
  • Communicate results and recommendations to teachers, administrator, and families
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal testing standards, including accommodations for students with special needs
  • Maintain and update digital and physical portfolios for each student, including academic work, assessments, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with academic administrator, teachers, and support staff to inform student placement and intervention strategies
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on assessment procedures, data entry, and portfolio management
  • Assist with reporting requirements and contribute to school-wide academic planning initiatives Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in education, data management, or a related field
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • Certified or in process of obtaining certification
  • Experience administering and managing K-12 assessments
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills
  • Ability to pass federal background check requirements Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with student information systems (SIS)
  • Familiarity with portfolio-based learning and competency-based assessment
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs Skills & Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, administrators, and families
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and manage files and assessment materials
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move as needed for testing administration Compensation & Benefits Salary $79,000
Includes:
