Job Description

Temp - Occupational Therapist (OT) - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days) Purcell, OK Join our dedicated team as a Temp Occupational Therapist specializing in Long Term Care in Purcell, OK, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide skilled rehabilitative services to individuals with cognitive and physical functioning disorders, ensuring optimal recovery and quality of life. Collaborate with a supportive healthcare team and contribute to comprehensive patient care in a rewarding environment.
Required Skills:
Valid Occupational Therapist license and NBCOT certification Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and regulatory standards Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration Ability to evaluate treatment outcomes and modify care plans accordingly Experience with ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices Competence in supervising and supporting occupational therapy assistants and students Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience working in long-term care or rehabilitation settings Bilingual abilities or additional language skills Familiarity with electronic health record systems Additional certifications in DME or specialized therapeutic techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program At least 1 year of clinical experience in a similar setting preferred Knowledge of state-specific licensure and practice requirements
