Job Description
Temp - Occupational Therapist (OT) - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days) Ada, OK Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in long-term care settings? Join our team as a Temp Occupational Therapist in Ada, OK, and play a vital role in restoring independence and improving quality of life for patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders. Required Skills:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Oklahoma (NBCOT certification preferred) Proven experience in evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans for patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders Proficiency in administering standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members Knowledge of regulatory and clinical documentation standards, including electronic health records Ability to assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and standards in line with NBCOT and state requirements Nice toHave Skills:
Experience supervising Occupational Therapist assistants, aides, or students Familiarity with adaptive equipment and DME procurement processes Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, to better serve diverse patient populations Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation facilitiesPreferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation, LTC, or similar healthcare settingOther Requirements:
Ability to obtain necessary DME or supplies per clinical standards Certification in CPR and basic life support (BLS) preferred Willingness to work daytime hours in a long-term care facility Valid driver s license and reliable transportation if travel is required for supplies or training This opportunity offers an hourly pay rate of $55.61, with comprehensive benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly direct deposit, medical insurance, referral bonuses, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and more.
