Belle Plaine MN Apply Now! Overview We are currently hiring an experienced TIG Welder to join our growing team on 1st shift. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder looking for a clean shop, strong team environment, and long-term career stability . Key Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel piping Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Set up materials, fixtures, and equipment for welding Grind, cut, and prep metal parts before welding Position and secure parts using clamps, jigs, and fixtures Inspect welds to ensure quality and meet specifications Repair damaged metal and complete finishing work as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and welding standards Requirements Strong TIG welding experience (stainless steel preferred) Ability to read and understand blueprints Ability to pass the following weld tests: 3" 304 sch. 40 6G pipe test ½" 304 sch. 10 6G pipe test Basic math and measurement skills Ability to work in all welding positions (flat, vertical, overhead, etc.) Why This Opportunity? $30/hour starting pay 1st shift schedule Clean, temperature-controlled shop Small, team-focused environment (work alongside 3 welders) Long-term growth — company expects to double in size 144 hours of PTO within first 5 years Annual raises based on performance Work Environment Indoor, climate-controlled facility Tight-knit, collaborative team Organized, safety-focused workspace Apply Today If you're a skilled TIG welder looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with strong growth potential , we encourage you to apply. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belle Plaine, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
