Mon•Thurs. 6AM•4:30PM Fri. OT as needed

POSITION OVERVIEW

•Key responsibilities include, setting up machinery, ensuring precise joint fitment, and maintaining safety

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•

Precision Welding:

Utilizing TIG welding techniques to join thin materials or complex components, often for high-strength or pressure-sensitive applications.

Equipment Setup:

Configuring welding equipment, including setting amperage, gas, and selecting tungsten electrodes.

Quality Control:

Inspecting finished welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Fabrication & Finishing:

Grinding, polishing, and preparing metal parts before and after welding.

Safety Compliance:

Adhering to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)

EDUCATION & TRAINING

•High School diploma or equivalent required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications Technical Skill:

Strong proficiency with Welding tools.

Manual Dexterity:

Excellent hand-eye coordination to manage the torch, filler rod, and foot pedal simultaneously.

Experience:

Previous experience with metal fabrication, particularly with stainless steel and aluminum.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
