Tire Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our small but growing trucking company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tire service, DOT regulations, and on-site diagnostics and repairs for diesel trucks and trailers. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of our fleet. The Tire Technician will be responsible for performing tire installations, repairs, rotations, and inspections, as well as supporting other essential vehicle services. The right candidate will bring a proactive approach to maintenance, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping our trucks and trailers road-ready. Responsibilities Repair trucks and trailers Perform trailer maintenance: brakes, lighting, suspension, structure Replace and repair tires (truck & trailer) Respond to roadside breakdowns across Middle Tennessee Conduct routine maintenance and diagnostics Maintain service records and inspection documentation Support annual inspections and compliance audits Wash and prep vehicles Requirements Diesel mechanic experience (mobile or shop-based) Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA standards Trailer systems and tire service expertise Independent, reliable, safety-first mindset Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely (heavy lifting required- 50lbs minimum multiple times a day) Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Valid driver's license required; clean driving record preferred

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
