Title Examiner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Title Examiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing public records and title documents to determine ownership, identify liens or encumbrances, and prepare accurate title commitments and reports for real estate transactions. Responsibilities Examine public records, deeds, mortgages, easements, leases, judgments, tax records, and other title documents Verify legal descriptions and ownership history Identify title defects, liens, encumbrances, and other issues affecting title Prepare title reports, commitments, and related documentation Work with attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and closing staff to resolve title issues Maintain accurate files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Previous title examining experience preferred Knowledge of real estate transactions and title insurance practices Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions and recorded documents Proficiency with title software and online county records systems preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and continuing education Please submit your resume and any relevant experience for consideration.
