Above all else, your love of children supersedes all other qualifications. Our Toddler classroom will be of mixed age group starting from 18 months old to 3 years old child with a focus on potty training. Role & Responsibilities Follows daily schedule and implements curriculum- such as sensorial, language, math, music, physical development, and more, which includes communicating and interpreting both verbally and in writing in the English language Provide a safe and loving environment for the students Maintains accurate child observation records and notes for use during parent/teacher conferences to be held at minimum twice a year Ability to multitask, and balance priorities and show responsibility Change diapers as needed (check every 30 minutes) Work with children on their gross motor skills and physical developmental milestones Supervises all children, regardless of their home classroom, maintaining a secure and safe environment for children to play and learn Cleans the classroom by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning the restroom, sanitizing toys and surfaces, and disposing of trash Lesson presentations keeping students engaged with age appropriate activities following the Montessori philosophy and methodology Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean Excellent Communication Skills - verbal (soft-spoken) Able to communicate with parents to an excellence Attitude of do whatever it takes. Fast Learner and Flexible Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards as directed. Communicate with the parents/administration to achieve success for the child Displays respect and courtesy for work colleagues and administration. Setting up the classroom for next day school Helps with meal and snack preparation, and modeling table manners by sitting with the children at family style meals. Helping other classrooms as and when needed and following that classroom policies and procedures. Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
