Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool/Child Care Teacher to inspire young children in a vibrant educational environment. We focus on creating a fun, structured environment where both children and staff can thrive. ✔ Positive, drama-free team culture ✔ Flexible scheduling (great for college students & support staff) ✔ Consistent scheduling (for classroom teachers) ✔ Meaningful work with children ages 0-12 ✔ No nights or weekends What You'll Do Plan and teach lessons that are aligned with early childhood education standards Maintain classroom structure Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring safety and compliance with childcare regulations Engage with children through hands-on activities that enhance cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills Utilize classroom management techniques to foster respectful interactions and encourage cooperative play Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment Conduct assessments and monitor progress Supervise children and ensure safety at all times Communicate professionally with staff and families Collaborate with families to support child welfare and developmental milestones through regular communication Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction Demonstrate a commitment to child welfare, and safety protocols Support children's literacy education by integrating reading activities and language-rich interactions into daily routines Requirements (Please Read Carefully) 12-15+ ECE/CD units required (transcripts required during hiring process) Must pass background check, TB test, and a physical (current on immunizations) Experience working with young children Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Strong classroom management and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable working in a Christian-environment Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and children Ideal Candidate You'll be a great fit if you: Truly enjoy working with children (not just "like kids") Can adapt quickly and stay calm in the classroom Take initiative and support your team without being asked Are dependable—your team can count on you Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
