Position Description Maintains inventory of tooling and spare parts by repair or requisitioning and issues on receipt of proper documents or demand. Key Responsibilities Issues all tooling and equipment within the crib area as needed by area operators. Determines workability of tooling at various times and repairs if necessary by proper method and procedures Maintains tooling inventory by requisitioning from Cost Center 49 (Stockroom) or Cost Center 55 (Tool Crib) Maintains proper records and documents Clean up work area. Must be able to read, write and use simple arithmetic. Must determine causes of malfunction of equipment. Must be able to judge proper state of tooling wear and determines if rework or replacement is required and act upon that determination. Requires frequent lifting of parts Required Education & Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years working experience with departmental tooling.
