JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN

RFQ tooling, Design New Pattern Tooling, resolve casting issues, Re-gate, Simulate, all other tasks as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design foundry tooling in Creo software using standards in place and best practices for No-bake molding process with the objective to improve quality and reduce lead time on tooling construction

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Years of experience: 5 years of relevant experiences Degree requirement: Associate or Bachelor.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

Foundry Engineer Experience. (Tools Quotation, Casting Scrap defects analysis & resolution, Foundry process knowledge, no-bake process, cold box process) Foundry tooling Design Experience. (Pattern and core boxes, Complex modeling, intuitive knowledge of P/L, offsets, clearances, layout in tool build, no-bake process, cold box process) Creo modeling and flow simulation analysis using SolidCast Machining print reading and geometric tolerance understanding Casting simulation experiences (SolidCast prefers) We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and global team.
