Job Description

AMRI of Napoleon is currently seeking Tool & Die Machinist/ Maintenance for a well-established manufacturing facility in Bryan, Ohio. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong manufacturing background who are dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a production environment. Description Be part of bringing new manufacturing capability to life. We're looking for a skilled Tool & Die Machinist to join our Maintenance team and play a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing this equipment from day one. This is more than a traditional machinist role

What You'll Do Fabricate, maintain, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and precision components Set up and operate manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, schematics, and GD&T specifications Support production by troubleshooting and repairing tooling to minimize downtime Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Collaborate with engineering and production teams to modify and improve tooling performance Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used Follow all safety standards, union guidelines, and maintenance procedures What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of experience as a Tool & Die Machinist or precision machinist Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, and metal forming processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Hands-on experience with manual machining equipment Knowledge of materials, heat treating, and manufacturing processes Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Reliable work history and commitment to safety Preferred Qualifications Technical trade school, apprenticeship, or formal machinist training Experience supporting metal packaging, stamping, or high-speed production environments Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and tooling lifecycle management Schedule & Benefits Competitive union wages Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision FREE Life Insurance Paid Vacation + 11 Paid Holidays Profit-Sharing Opportunities 401(k) with guaranteed 4.5% company contribution + match Grow Your Career in Maintenance This position is part of our structured Maintenance Tier System, providing clear opportunities to: Advance your technical skillset Increase responsibility and pay over time Build a long-term career within a highly specialized manufacturing environment What We Offer Competitive pay with growth opportunities and full benefits upon hire in If you are looking for a stable opportunity with long-term potential in a growing manufacturing environment, apply today through AMRI!
